Make – Terms of Use

Last update: October 16th, 2026

These terms of use form an end-user license agreement between you and Aponia Inc. (hereafter “Aponia”) for the use of Make, Aponia’s project management and invoicing application available at make.aponia.ca. They apply in addition to our general Terms of Use.

What is Make?

Make is an internal business application operated by Aponia. It is used by Aponia’s team to manage projects, tasks, time tracking and invoicing. Access is restricted to Aponia staff and collaborators expressly authorized by Aponia.

Accounts and access

  • Accounts are created by Aponia and are personal: you may not share your credentials or let anyone else use your account.
  • You are responsible for the activity under your account and must notify Aponia promptly of any suspected unauthorized use.
  • Aponia may suspend or revoke access at any time, in particular when access is no longer required.

License

Aponia grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Make for purposes related to your work with Aponia. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or reverse engineer the application or any part of it.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Make only for its intended business purposes and not to:

  • access or attempt to access data you are not authorized to see;
  • introduce malicious code or disrupt the operation of the application;
  • extract or disclose business or client data outside of your authorized duties.

QuickBooks Online integration

Make can connect to QuickBooks Online through Intuit’s secure OAuth 2.0 authorization, limited to the accounting scope. The integration works one way: invoices prepared in Make are pushed to QuickBooks Online, where they are then reviewed and sent by Aponia.

The data accessed through this connection and how it is handled are described in our QuickBooks Integration Privacy Policy. The connection can be revoked at any time from Make’s settings or from the connected Intuit account.

Data and privacy

Personal information processed through Make is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Business and client data stored in Make remains confidential and may only be used in the course of your work with Aponia.

Availability and changes

Make is provided “as is”. Aponia may modify, interrupt or discontinue the application, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aponia will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, Make.

Termination

Aponia may terminate your access to Make at any time. The sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, confidentiality and limitation of liability) will survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

Can we update these terms?

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last update” date at the top of this page indicates the most recent version.
